Infestation is an on-line, multiplayer, survival-simulation game set in an open world plagued with zombies. Players are thrust into this post-apocalyptic world five-years after a viral outbreak that ravaged the human population and left, with its wake, a nightmare of epic proportion. Hordes of undead zombies roam the cities, plus the few remaining human beings have devolved into a lawless, nomadic society in which the sole objective will be survive at any cost. Players must use skill and cunning in order to acquire food, weapons and other supplies essential for survival. While navigating the vast landscape, they will discover cities teeming using the undead along with other players that may or may not be friendly.

Infestation Colorado V2 Shared Global Inventory

The Colorado V2 map that is currently in beta and release 2-3 weeks ago has now released it's last feature before final release, sharing of the GI.  You can now bring items found in the V2 map into V1 via the GI, this also means that anything lost in Colorado V2 is lost permanently.

The loot in Colorado V2 is completely re-done and loot makes sense now, you see a building, you can bet you will find items to aid in your survival.

Latest patch notes:

Speeding up your PC for Infestation 8 Steps

If you follow these 8 steps correctly, your ingame performance can increase dramatically if your pc is not top of  the line.

Step 1

Conduct a routine check for viruses. Malware, spyware, trojans along with other types of malicious applications can overburden a computer system with additional activity, slow down your PC’s functionality and impact your infestation gameplay.

Colorado V2 Beta Out now

Currently, Infestation setup testing servers where players can test the Colorado V2 map.  What's unique about this setup is that users can join the servers with any gear from the global inventory and will not lose the items when they die.

This allows players to roam the map not working about survival or losing gear upon death.  Colorado V2 will be the second map revamp Infestation as released since they launched.  The first update to the Colorado map was when they expanded the map adding several new towns.
